Racing Background:  As an 18 year old disadvantaged by the lack of motorsport facilities and support growing up in the Middle east, Yazan has already established himself as one of the best young racing drivers across the world, hence why he was chosen as one of the 30 young and upcoming drivers to participate in the FIA drivers excellence academy shootout in Austria, November 2011.

With his uncle being one of the most successful Middle eastern Hill climb and Rally champions, it was just a matter of being old enough to start karting, he has since participated and won races in almost every Arab country so far.  Finishing 3rd in the Middle east karting cup in 2009, only to be followed by clinching the first official Saudi Karting championship in Reem international karting circuit by winning every single round in 2010 competing against a total of 57 other drivers.

His successful streak didn’t stop there and when he graduated to Single seaters, even though it was his first ever car racing season, he won the first two rounds back to back followed by a second place finish, only to be lucked out by mechanical failures for the next 3 rounds where his car failed to finish on one occasion and was suffering from gearbox issues on the other two, and yet, he was crowned vice champion at the end of the season. Yazan continues to prove to himself and to the rest of the world that with the right financial support, his dream of becoming the first ever Arab Formula one driver and champion, is definitely possible.
