About racing: I started karting at a very young age, about 9, since then, I've karted in Cyprus, Dubai, Jeddah, Germany, Italy, and Malaysia, and in Austria. But about 14 when i seriously started racing. At 14 i took part at a local race, with rotax karts. Being the first time i drive these karts in races, i did not get any considerable positions. At the second round, being by far the youngest and least experienced driver, i qualified at a good position, shocking some drivers that i was able to catch up to considering the times. Both races i did not score considerably, also considering it was my first time on professional karts.
On October 1st, 2008, i trained in Jesolo, Italy, with mach racing team. Being the first time i drive the top class of karts. The kf-1. After the 3 day course, I improved a dramatic 8 seconds of my lap times. And on November 5th, I went to Austria again for a second training with Mach racing team, it was in A1 speed world track. I drove the rotax and the kf-1, and kf-3 for a while to increase my experience with all engines. We had some mechanical problems but we resolved them and got quite a lot of laps around, and on the 3rd day, i was able to get a lot of laps on Rain, further developing my experience and skills in karting in all conditions.
I came second in the first round of the MEKC 08/09, although it was my first time on the track, and in the championship, unlike all my competitors, I was able to come second after having to fight from last place from an incident in the first corner.
On June 11th, It was announced that I was 3rd in the Middle East karting cup Junior overall standings, After leading the championship coming into the third round, I suffered from many problems, including engine and Tire problems, I had to settle with 3rd in the overall standing.
